About Port Antonio
Port Antonio is Portland's crown jewel — a twin-harbour town that Errol Flynn once called the most beautiful place on Earth. The Blue Lagoon, a 200-foot deep mineral spring that shifts between sapphire and emerald, is minutes from town. San San Beach and Frenchman's Cove are two of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean.
Rafting on the Rio Grande — an 8-mile drift through the jungle on a bamboo raft — launches from Berrydale, just south of town. The Boston Bay jerk pits are 20 minutes east. Navy Island, Flynn's former private island, sits in the harbour.
Port Antonio is where Jamaica's creative class comes to escape. The Trident Hotel, Geejam, and Kanopi House attract filmmakers, musicians, and writers. This is not a resort town — it is Jamaica's most beautiful secret.
