What We Require
Aurum drivers meet the highest professional standards in Jamaican tourism transport.
Transport Authority & PPV
- Valid PPV (Public Passenger Vehicle) licence from the Transport Authority
- Vehicle registered and inspected for passenger transport
- Road Licence and Certificate of Fitness up to date
JTB Certification (through TPDCo)
- Jamaica Tourist Board certified through the Tourism Product Development Company (TPDCo)
- Completion of a Team Jamaica Courtesy Corps or equivalent training programme
- Valid JTB badge displayed on person during all transfers
Record & Compliance
- Clean police record (no convictions in the past 5 years)
- Valid Jamaican driver's licence (minimum 3 years)
- No outstanding traffic violations or warrants
Vehicle Standards
- Vehicle must be 2018 or newer
- Air conditioning in full working order
- Clean interior and exterior at all times
- Adequate luggage capacity for the vehicle class

DO NOT APPLY BEFORE COMPLETING your JTB certification through TPDCo. CTT Institute in Ocho Rios can get you certified. They offer the Team Jamaica Training programme approved by TPDCo, which is a requirement for all Aurum Transfers drivers.

- Confirm vehicle is clean, fuelled, and WiFi-ready
- Arrive at the airport 15 minutes before landing
- Prepare name board with guest's name
At Airport
- Meet and greet at arrivals with name board
- Assist with luggage
- Offer cold water and a warm welcome
- Confirm destination and any special requests
On Road
- Follow the assigned route via Aurum navigation

How to Apply
Three steps between you and your first Aurum route.
Fill the Application
Complete the online form with your licence details, JTB certification number, vehicle information, and preferred airport. Takes about 5 minutes.
Interview & Verification
We review your documents, verify your JTB certification and PPV licence, and schedule a short video or in-person interview. Vehicle inspection included.
Get on the Road
Once approved, you receive access to the Aurum driver app, your first route assignments, and a Starlink WiFi unit for your vehicle. Start earning in your first week.
