Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Aurum Transfers Limited ("Aurum", "we", "us") provides pre-booked private airport transfer and chauffeur services in Jamaica. We also operate an online business directory and affiliate marketplace platform. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD).
  • Transfer prices are calculated based on route, vehicle, and party size. No hidden fees.
  • Payment is accepted via PayPal (online) or cash USD at pickup.
  • Bookings are confirmed upon successful payment or cash reservation.
  • Directory listing subscriptions are billed annually through PayPal. Pricing is displayed at the time of purchase.

3. Cancellation Policy

  • 24+ hours before pickup: Full refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund.
  • Time and flight changes are free up to 2 hours before scheduled pickup.
  • Directory subscriptions (Enhanced $75/yr, Featured $150/yr, Premium Spotlight $300/yr) are billed annually and non-refundable. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the subscription year.

4. Flight Delays

We track your flight number. If your flight is delayed, your driver will adjust the pickup time automatically at no extra charge. No action is needed from you.

5. Wait Time

Your driver will wait up to 60 minutes after your flight lands (or scheduled pickup time for departures). Extended wait times may incur additional charges.

6. Passenger Conduct

Passengers must behave respectfully toward drivers. Aurum Transfers reserves the right to refuse service for disruptive behavior. Smoking is not permitted in vehicles.

7. Directory Services

Our business directory allows businesses to create and manage listings. Free listings include basic information. Paid annual tiers (Enhanced, Featured, Premium Spotlight) unlock additional features including lead capture, analytics, and priority placement.

  • Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listing information.
  • We reserve the right to remove listings that contain false, misleading, or inappropriate content.
  • Third-party tools available through our App Hub are provided by their respective vendors. We are not responsible for the performance or terms of third-party services.
  • Owners of claimed listings receive periodic engagement emails summarising listing performance. These are service communications under the listing relationship; a one-click unsubscribe is included in every email.
  • The Aurum Directory referral program is governed by separate terms at /referral-terms, which form part of these Terms by reference.

8. Affiliate Links

Our website contains affiliate links to third-party products and services. When you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. This does not influence our recommendations. We only promote services we believe provide genuine value.

9. Sponsorship Placements

Sponsorship placements purchased via /advertise (banner placements, featured-sponsor cards, sticky-mobile bars, direct-deal slots) are governed by these additional terms:

  • Creative standards.Aurum reserves the right to refuse, modify, or take down any creative that conflicts with these terms or our published acceptance criteria (weapons, explicit content, gambling, scams, MLMs, direct competitors to Aurum’s services in Jamaica, anything that misrepresents itself or harms visitors). Decisions are at Aurum’s sole discretion.
  • Takedown rights. Aurum may suspend or remove a placement at any time for breach of these terms. In that case the unused portion of the current billing period is refunded; subsequent billing is cancelled.
  • No-refund window.Outside of an Aurum- initiated takedown (above), no refunds are issued for the current billing period once a placement is live for >7 days.
  • Cancellation.PayPal subscriptions: cancel anytime in PayPal — placement remains live to the end of the paid month then goes inactive. Direct deals: 30-day written notice to info@aurum-transfers.com; no refunds for the current period.
  • FTC disclosure. Sponsored placements are visually labelled as such per FTC Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255).
  • Audience numbers.Audience figures published on /advertise and in inquiry replies are estimates derived from Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and our first-party impression tracking. We don’t guarantee specific impression or click counts for any placement; actual performance varies by season, traffic mix, and placement context.
  • Indemnity. Sponsor warrants that supplied creative does not infringe any third-party IP and indemnifies Aurum against claims arising from the creative content.

10. Liability

Aurum Transfers Limited is insured for passenger transportation. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, road conditions, or circumstances beyond our control. Directory listings and affiliate content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jamaica.
