Boston Bay is the birthplace of jerk — the roadside smokers here have been seasoning and slow-cooking pork and chicken over pimento wood for generations. The jerk centre at Boston Bay is a pilgrimage for food lovers, and the taste is sharper, smokier, and more intense than anywhere else on the island.
The beach at Boston Bay is one of Jamaica's best surf spots — consistent swells roll in from the Atlantic, and local surfers share the lineup with visitors. The sand is golden, the water is warm, and the reef break is forgiving enough for beginners.
