Today, Port Royal is a quiet fishing village, but its history as a base for Henry Morgan and other buccaneers makes it one of Jamaica's most fascinating historic sites.
Fort Charles, one of the few surviving structures from Port Royal's heyday, still stands at the water's edge. If time allows, it is worth a visit before or after your flight.

Kingston Waterfront covers the harbour-front area including Port Royal, Fort Charles, and waterfront dining.
