Bohemian cliff-edge living where the rum flows, the divers fly, and every evening ends with the Caribbean's most famous sunset. Negril's West End is the dramatic counterpart to Seven Mile Beach - instead of flat sand and turquoise shallows, you get volcanic limestone cliffs dropping straight into deep blue water, with boutique hotels, cave bars, and cliff-jumping platforms carved into the rock face. This is the Negril that locals and returning visitors love best.
This guide covers transfer pricing from all three airports, the cliff-side properties that make the West End unforgettable, and the attractions you should not miss during your stay.
Transfer Prices to West End Cliffs, Negril
All prices are for in a private vehicle. Fixed pricing, no surprises.
Nearly all visitors to the West End Cliffs arrive through Sangster International (MBJ). The 90-minute transfer heads south through the hills and along the coast road into Westmoreland parish, passing through the town of Lucea before reaching Negril. Your Aurum Transfers driver will meet you in the meet and greet area with a name board, load your luggage, and have the vehicle cool with cold water and Starlink satellite WiFi ready. By the time you reach the West End, the cliffs and the sunset will be waiting.
For guests arriving at KIN, the cross-island transfer is a longer journey of four and a half to five hours, but it offers a rare chance to see Jamaica from east to west in a single drive.

What to See and Do
Rick's Cafe
The most famous bar in Jamaica and possibly the Caribbean. Rick's Cafe sits on a 35-foot cliff where professional and amateur divers launch themselves into the deep blue water below, cheered on by crowds holding Red Stripe and rum punch. The sunset from Rick's is a nightly event - arrive by 4 PM to claim a good spot. Live reggae, cold drinks, and an atmosphere that has not changed in spirit since the 1970s.
West End Cliffs and 3 Dives Point
The cliffs themselves are the attraction. Walking the West End road from Rick's Cafe southward, you pass a continuous stretch of cliff-top bars, swimming platforms, and snorkelling access points. 3 Dives Point is a popular local spot with three platforms at different heights, letting you choose your level of courage before jumping into the crystal-clear water below.
Blue Hole Mineral Spring
A hidden inland sinkhole filled with mineral-rich blue water, about 30 minutes from the West End. Locals and visitors jump from the surrounding rock walls into the deep pool below, and the mineral water is said to have healing properties. A rope swing and a small bar complete the experience.

Why Book a Private Transfer to the West End Cliffs?
The West End is spread along a narrow cliff road with limited signage and no central arrival point. Many of the smaller boutique properties are tricky to find, especially after dark. A private transfer means your driver knows exactly where your hotel is, drops you at the door, and handles your luggage while you take in the view for the first time. After a long flight, that makes all the difference.
A private transfer with Aurum Transfers means:

meet and greet at MBJ and KIN
Starlink satellite WiFi in every vehicle
