Distance and drive time
Norman Manley Airport is 26km from New Kingston (the main hotel and business district). The drive takes 25-35 minutes depending on traffic. The route crosses the Palisadoes causeway with views of Kingston Harbour, the Blue Mountains, and the historic Port Royal. Rush hour (7-9am, 4-6pm) can add 15-20 minutes.

Beyond Kingston
KIN also serves as a starting point for the eastern parishes. Port Antonio: 2 hours 30 minutes, from $225. Ocho Rios: 2 hours, from $275. Treasure Beach: 2 hours 45 minutes, from $295. For Negril or Montego Bay, flying into MBJ is far more practical than transferring from KIN (4+ hours by road).
