Why do Lamezia lounge searches give different answers?

[LoungeIQ's SUF page](https://loungeiq.com/airport/SUF) lists an ITA Airways Business Lounge, whereas [Sleeping in Airports](https://www.sleepinginairports.net/guides/lamezia-airport-guide.htm) describes Club S.E.A. VIP Lounge with paid and membership access. Different names and access descriptions are a reason to investigate, not to combine them into one confident promise. Neither page proves that a pass will work for your departure.

The [airline's own lounge-location page](https://www.ita-airways.com/en_en/fly-ita/additional-services/extra/lounges/lounge-location.html) returned an access barrier during our check. We did not bypass it or certify a current SUF listing. Ask the airline or airport to identify the facility and applicable admission arrangement; a business-class label or alliance logo elsewhere is not enough.

Is SACAL's Courtesy Lounge the same as a paid VIP lounge?

No paid entitlement follows from that name. Page 30 of [SACAL's 2025 service charter](https://sacal.it/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/scg_english-2025-suf.pdf) describes a Courtesy Lounge in the check-in area before security as a reception point for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility. It also mentions families with newborns. Treat it as assistance information, not a buffet-lounge advertisement.

The document also uses boarding lounge for ordinary departure areas. That wording does not establish a premium room with card access. If you need assistance, request the appropriate service through your airline and ask where to report. A commercial lounge pass does not replace arranging support, and you should not need to buy a premium product merely to ask about assistance.

Can you buy a pass or use Priority Pass at SUF?

A current paid-entry tariff and confirmed membership agreement were not verified. Do not budget around an old approximate door price or assume that every passenger can pay on arrival. Before purchasing, ask the seller for the exact lounge, terminal area, valid date, eligible flight and refund terms if admission is unavailable.

For Priority Pass, Air Canada or another airline benefit, check the entitlement attached to your actual booking or membership. A premium ticket, bank card and lounge-program membership can have different conditions. How can you plan a comfortable wait without assuming access?

SACAL's dated charter describes food outlets, vending, charging and Wi-Fi. It is useful background, not a live opening-hours feed: confirm what is available in your departure area. Keep boarding documents and essential items accessible, and choose refreshments around the time you actually have. A lounge search should reduce uncertainty rather than send you chasing an unconfirmed desk.
