Later report

[ea.md reported on 9 April 2025](https://ea.md/business-lounge-ul-de-pe-aeroportul-international-chisinau-si-a-reluat-activitatea-iata-optiunile-de-acces-disponibile/) that eligible Mastercard and Visa access had resumed through DragonPass and Collinson. That later report does not prove your present card entitlement.

Current limits

A current airport tariff, opening schedule and Priority Pass admission policy were not verified on 22 October 2026. Confirm these for your flight rather than relying on an old price or suspension notice.

Why do Chisinau lounge access reports disagree?

The dates explain part of the confusion. Maib's March 2025 notice says the airport took over lounge management on 28 February, replacing Aerofood, and describes temporary restrictions while agreements were unfinished. An April 2025 ea.md report then quotes airport representatives saying access had resumed for eligible premium Mastercard and Visa holders through named programmes.

Neither statement should be detached from its date and presented as a universal October 2026 rule. Our older page also described paid access as the only option; that conclusion is not supported as a current policy by the evidence checked here. Ask about your exact credential instead of choosing whichever search result sounds more reassuring.

Can you use Priority Pass or a premium bank card at RMO?

We could not verify current Priority Pass admission from an accessible programme listing. The pages checked returned no usable lounge information, which is not proof of either admission or suspension. Likewise, a report naming Collinson does not establish that every product associated with that company has the same entitlement.

For a bank-card benefit, ask the issuer which programme and lounge it covers, whether activation is required, and how guests or children are charged. Ask the lounge to confirm it recognises that credential for your departure. Do not treat the words Visa, Mastercard, premium or business class as a complete admission rule.

What should you check about price, location and facilities?

LoungeDeal describes Business Lounge airside on Level 2, reached past Golden Jet Restaurant, with a three-hour stay. Its page also advertises showers and food. These are third-party descriptions, not facts independently confirmed with the airport for this update. Follow current terminal signs and ask staff before planning around a particular floor, amenity or visit length.

The historical EUR 35 figure is not a live tariff. Before purchasing, obtain the lounge's exact name, current charge and currency, permitted duration, opening hours and refund conditions. If a shower, suitable food or step-free route is essential, confirm that feature explicitly. A location description using Golden Jet Restaurant is not evidence that every similarly named listing is a separate lounge.

How can you make a lounge decision without risking your boarding time?

First check the benefit with your issuer or programme; then confirm the named venue and terms with the airport or seller. Finally, compare the usable waiting time with the complete cost. Keep the booking confirmation and required credential available, but leave room for security, border checks and reaching the gate.
