Kyiv Zhuliany Airport (IEV) has had no commercial passenger flights since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022, when Ukrainian civil airspace closed to civilian air traffic and has remained closed since. Any lounge question about Zhuliany today has to start from that closure: there is no active lounge, because there is no active commercial flying at all through this or any other Ukrainian civilian airport.
Before the closure, Zhuliany operated as one of Kyiv's two airports, handling regional and some international routes separate from Boryspil International Airport (KBP), the city's larger long-haul gateway. Whatever lounge or premium facilities existed at either airport before February 2022 are not currently operating in any meaningful sense for travelers, since the entire civil aviation system in Ukraine has been suspended rather than merely reduced.
Multiple governments maintain strong advisories against travel to Ukraine given the active conflict, and that advisory situation, not lounge amenities, is the genuinely important question for anyone with a real reason to consider travel involving the country. Airspace closure and active war conditions make any airport-lounge planning secondary to basic safety and access questions that should be checked against your own government's current guidance before anything else.
If air travel to Ukraine resumes in the future, both Zhuliany and Boryspil would be the airports to watch for updated lounge information, since Boryspil in particular carried established airline lounges before the war. Until commercial flights actually resume, treat any current claim about lounge access at either Kyiv airport as unverifiable, and rely on your government's official guidance and airline advisories for the genuinely current picture on Ukrainian civil aviation.
