XIC is the airport code for Xichang Qingshan Airport, serving Xichang, a city in the south of Sichuan Province in southwestern China, the capital of the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture. Set on a plateau among mountains, Xichang enjoys a mild, sunny climate that has earned it the nickname of a spring city, and lies beside the beautiful Qionghai Lake, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Sichuan.
