OSF is the airport code for Ostafyevo, a business airport just south of Moscow in the Podolsk area, which shares its name with the nearby Ostafyevo estate. Owned for over a century by the aristocratic Vyazemsky family, it is where the historian Nikolai Karamzin lived and wrote much of his History of the Russian State, and where Alexander Pushkin, a friend of the poet Pyotr Vyazemsky, read newly written chapters of Eugene Onegin.
