Booking your airport transfer should take less time than ordering lunch. Here is exactly how it works, from your first click to your driver holding your name board at arrivals.
Step 1: Visit the Booking Page
Start at aurum-transfers.com/book. You will see Jamaica's three international airports listed:
MBJ -- Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay
KIN -- Norman Manley International Airport, Kingston
OCJ -- Ian Fleming International Airport, Ocho Rios
Select the airport you are flying into. Most visitors to Jamaica's north coast arrive at MBJ. If you are heading to Kingston, you will fly into KIN. OCJ serves the Ocho Rios area for select flights.
Step 2: Choose Your Destination
After selecting your airport, you will see every destination zone we serve from that airport with the transfer price displayed clearly. Prices are for -- not per person.
For example, from MBJ:
Click on your destination to proceed to the booking calendar.
Not sure which destination zone your resort falls in? Each destination page lists every property in that zone. You can also explore all destinations to search by resort name.
Step 3: Select Your Date and Time
The booking calendar shows available dates. Select your arrival date and your preferred pickup time.
A note on timing: For airport arrivals, we recommend selecting the time your flight is scheduled to land. Our real-time flight tracking system monitors your flight automatically, so your driver will adjust if your flight is early or delayed. You do not need to account for immigration and customs time -- we factor that in.
For departure transfers (resort to airport), select the time you want to be picked up from your accommodation. We recommend allowing at least two and a half hours before your flight for MBJ departures.
Step 4: Enter Your Details
You will be asked to provide:
Your name -- as it appears on your booking, so your driver's name board matches
Contact information -- email and phone number (WhatsApp-enabled number preferred)
Flight number -- for arrival transfers, so we can track your flight
Number of guests -- standard pricing covers
Special requests -- child seats (free on request, just specify ages), extra luggage, or any other needs
Step 5: Pay Securely Online
Complete your payment using any major credit or debit card through our secure payment system. The price you see is the price you pay -- no hidden fees, no surcharges, no tipping calculations built in.
Your payment is processed securely through PayPal -- either via PayPal Smart Buttons on the booking page or through a PayPal invoice sent to your email after booking is confirmed. PayPal handles all PCI-compliant card processing; no payment data is stored on our servers.
Step 6: Receive Your Confirmation
The moment your booking is confirmed, you receive:
Instant email confirmation with your booking reference, destination, date, time, and price
WhatsApp confirmation with the same details
Save your booking reference. You will not need it at the airport -- your driver will find you -- but it is useful to have for any modifications.
Before You Land: Driver Details via WhatsApp
Before your flight departs for Jamaica, we send you your driver's details via WhatsApp:
Driver's name and photo
Vehicle type and description
A direct WhatsApp contact for your driver
This means you know exactly who is meeting you before you even board your plane. No uncertainty, no guessing.
At the Airport: Meet and Greet
When you land and clear customs:
At MBJ and KIN: Your driver is waiting in the arrivals meet and greet area with a name board. Walk through the doors, see your name, and your transfer begins.
At OCJ: Your driver waits right outside the arrivals area at the smaller terminal.
Your driver helps with luggage, escorts you to your vehicle, offers cold water, and gets you moving. Every vehicle has Starlink satellite WiFi, so you can connect immediately.
Need to Change or Cancel?
Life happens. Aurum Transfers makes modifications and cancellations straightforward:
Modifications are free up to 24 hours before your scheduled pickup. Change your date, time, or destination at no cost.
Full refunds for cancellations made 24 or more hours before pickup. No penalties, no processing fees.
To modify or cancel, contact us via WhatsApp or email with your booking reference. Changes are processed quickly -- usually within the hour.
Tips for a Smooth Booking
Book at least 48 hours in advance. We accommodate last-minute bookings when we can, but 48 hours gives us the best availability across our fleet.
Include your WhatsApp number. Our pre-arrival driver details and real-time updates are sent via WhatsApp. If you do not use WhatsApp, we send everything via email and SMS.
Specify child seat needs at booking. We provide child seats and booster seats free of charge, but we need to know ages in advance to have the right equipment in your vehicle.
Book both directions. Most guests book their arrival and departure transfers at the same time. Your return transfer follows the same simple process -- just select a departure service instead of an arrival.
