The booking experience is broken
Planning a Jamaica airport transfer today means opening five tabs: Google for price comparisons, the transfer company website, a map for drive times, your hotel confirmation for the address, and a currency converter. You fill out the same form on three different sites before you find a price you trust.
AI assistants are about to make all of that irrelevant.
What if you could just ask?
Imagine opening Claude and typing: "How much to get from Montego Bay airport to Sandals Negril for two people tomorrow afternoon?"
In under three seconds, you get a live price quote with vehicle options, drive time, and a one-click booking link. No forms. No tabs. No waiting for an email reply.
This is not a concept β it is live right now.
How it works: the Model Context Protocol
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude connect to external tools and data sources. Think of it as plugins for AI β but standardised, so any MCP-compatible assistant can use any MCP server.
We built an MCP server for Aurum Transfers that exposes 20 tools: live quotes, vehicle comparisons, route planning, chauffeur day trips, and even Jamaica's tourist business directory with 4,100+ listings.
When you ask Claude about a Jamaica transfer, it calls our tools behind the scenes and returns real data β live pricing from the same engine that powers our website.
Why conversational booking wins
Speed. A quote that takes 90 seconds on a website takes 3 seconds in a conversation. No page loads, no form validation errors, no CAPTCHAs.
Context. You can ask follow-up questions naturally. "What about an SUV instead?" or "How long is the drive?" β the AI remembers your trip details.
Comparison. Ask for quotes from multiple airports or destinations in one conversation. The AI handles the complexity.
Booking. When you are ready, say "book it" and get a PayPal payment link. No account creation required.
What this means for travel
MCP is still early. Most travellers have never heard of it. But the pattern is clear: the best booking experience is no booking experience β just a conversation that ends with a confirmation.
Airlines, hotels, and transfer companies that build AI-native tools now will own the next generation of travel booking. The ones that wait will become the websites nobody visits because the AI already has a better answer.
Try it yourself
Our MCP server is free, open-source (MIT license), and takes under a minute to install. It works with Claude Desktop, Claude Code, and any MCP-compatible client.
Install the Aurum Transfers MCP and ask about any Jamaica transfer. The future of booking is already here.
