Porto Airport, officially Francisco Sa Carneiro, is northern Portugal's main gateway, and it gives you two lounges to consider, with one clear Priority Pass option that also sells walk-in access. Picking the right one depends on your airline and your card.
The two lounges at Porto
Porto has two operational lounges. The ANA Lounge, the airport's Sala VIP, is the Priority Pass, LoungeKey and DragonPass option, and it serves both Schengen and non-Schengen passengers. It sits airside after security next to gates 31 and 32 on level 3, and is open daily from early morning to evening, roughly 4am to 9pm. The other is the TAP Premium Lounge in Terminal 1, on the sixth floor after security, open from early morning to around midnight, for Star Alliance Gold members and TAP business and premium-economy passengers in the Schengen area.
Access methods and day passes
For most visitors the ANA Lounge is the flexible choice: you can enter with Priority Pass, LoungeKey or DragonPass, or buy a walk-in or prepaid day pass, recently in the region of thirty-seven to forty-three euros, for a stay of up to three hours. The TAP Premium Lounge, by contrast, is tied to Star Alliance status and TAP premium cabins rather than a paid walk-in. There is no Plaza Premium lounge at Porto, so the ANA Lounge is the one to target if you are relying on a membership or paying your way in.
Amenities and tips
The ANA Lounge offers a hot and cold buffet, Portuguese wines including Port, free Wi-Fi, and showers, which are welcome before a long or early flight. Because it serves both Schengen and non-Schengen departures and is the main Priority Pass option, it can get busy at peak times, so arrive with a little margin. If it is full, Porto has a solid range of airside cafes as a fallback. Use the comparison below to match the lounge to your airline, membership, or card.
