Dubai has transformed from a quiet trading port into one of the world's most ambitious cities in just three decades. Home to the world's tallest building (Burj Khalifa, 828m), the world's largest mall, and a man-made archipelago shaped like palm trees, Dubai is a monument to superlatives. The city operates as a global transit hub — many visitors combine a Dubai stopover with beach and desert experiences. November through March is peak season with comfortable temperatures (20-30C). Summer (June-September) is brutally hot (45C+) but prices drop significantly.
