Aurum Directory Referral Terms

1. What the program is

The Aurum Directory referral program (the “Program”) is operated by Aurum Transfers Limited (“Aurum,” “we”) at aurum-transfers.com. When a Jamaican business owner with an active Aurum Directory listing (the “Referrer”) introduces another business (the “Referee”) using their personal referral code, and the Referee subsequently activates a paid Directory listing, both parties are credited the same number of bonus listing months on their respective subscriptions.

2. Eligibility

Referrer must have an active claimed listing on the Aurum Directory.
Referee must be a separately owned business — same-owner cross-referrals and self-referrals do not qualify and will be voided.
Referee must complete a paid subscription on the Aurum Directory at any tier (Enhanced, Featured, or Premium).
The Referrer’s code must be present on the signup record at the time of activation. Codes added retroactively do not qualify.

3. The reward

When a qualifying signup completes, both Referrer and Referee receive the same number of bonus listing months credited to their active Directory subscription. By default, the credit equals one (1) month of the Referee’s chosen tier. Aurum may, at its discretion, run enhanced-credit promotions communicated in writing.

4. Caps and limits

Rolling cap: 12 bonus months per Referrer per rolling 12-month window. Referrals beyond the cap will be recorded but not credited; the corresponding event is voided.
One credit per Referee:a given Referee can only generate one referral bonus, even if multiple Referrers’ codes are shared with them.
No cash value: bonus months have no cash redemption value, are not transferable, and may not be combined with other promotional credits except by written agreement.

5. Anti-abuse

Aurum may void any referral that, in its reasonable judgment, was obtained through misrepresentation, automated tooling, fake businesses, or coordinated activity intended to inflate rewards. We may also void referrals where the same payment instrument or registered address is used by more than one party in the chain. Voided referrals do not generate credit and previously credited bonuses tied to voided referrals may be reversed.

6. Cancellation, refunds, and downgrade

If a Referee cancels their paid subscription within 30 days of activation and receives a refund, the referral is voided and any bonus already credited to either party may be reversed. After 30 days, refunds are handled per the standard Aurum Transfers terms.

7. Required disclosures when sharing

When you share your referral link or code, you must clearly disclose that you may receive a benefit from the recipient’s signup. The standard share text we provide on emails and the public landing page includes the required disclosure language. Modifying that language to conceal the relationship breaches these terms and the United States Federal Trade Commission’s endorsement guides where applicable.

8. Privacy

Referral codes, click events, and signup events are recorded server-side to administer the Program. IP addresses associated with click and signup events are hashed with a daily-rotating salt and never stored in raw form. Full details: our privacy notice.

9. Engagement emails

Owners of claimed Directory listings receive periodic engagement emails summarising listing performance and explaining the Program. These are service communications tied to the contractual relationship of the Directory listing. Each email contains a one-click unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately. Unsubscribing from engagement emails does not affect billing notices, security notices, or other service communications required by law.

10. Changes to the Program

Aurum may modify or discontinue the Program at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email and posted on this page at least 14 days before they take effect. Bonus months credited prior to a material change remain valid.
