Dushanbe International Airport, Tajikistan's main gateway, modernised with a new terminal that handles up to about 1.5 million passengers a year and houses duty-free, cafes, currency exchange and ATMs. For premium comfort there is a business and VIP lounge airside, located after security and passport control in the international departures area near gates 2 to 3, and it runs around the clock. Inside you will find quieter seating, Wi-Fi, snacks and drinks. Access typically comes via pay-at-the-door (around USD 35 per person), prepaid lounge passes or membership programmes, and eligible business and first-class passengers.
