Broome Airport (BME) has a lounge again - and a brand-new one: the Qantas Regional Lounge opened in 2025 in a new terminal extension, sitting airside just past security with seating for around 100, quiet zones, solo work pods and power at most seats. Access follows Qantas rules rather than pay-at-door entry: Business passengers, Qantas Club members and Gold-and-above frequent flyers are welcomed, with self-serve snacks through the day and beer and wine from midday. There is no Priority Pass lounge here, so independent program members should plan around the public concourse instead. As the Kimberley's gateway - Cable Beach, cruise connections, Horizontal Falls charters - Broome's departures cluster around the midday east-coast rotations, and the lounge takes the edge off the dry-season crowds.
