Welcome to Aurum Transfers Limited (“Aurum”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “guest”, “passenger”) and Aurum Transfers regarding the use of our website and services. By booking or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

1) Securing Your Booking

Prepayment required to confirm: A partial prepayment (shown at checkout) is required to lock in your ride and place it on our schedule.

Confirmation: Your transfer is confirmed only after successful payment. Until then, a booking is a pending quote.

Confirmation email: We’ll email your official confirmation once payment is complete. Please check flight number, pickup time/location, destination, passenger count, and vehicle type.

Balance: Any remaining balance can be paid online or in cash directly to the driver. We accept major credit/debit cards.

2) Cancellations, Credits & Changes

How to cancel: Use the “Cancel booking” section on our online form with your booking reference.

More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund.

Within 24 hours of pickup: Full service credit (no further payment will be taken).

Service credit validity: Credits are valid for 12 months from the original travel date and can be applied by emailing rebook@aurum-transfers.com, messaging us on WhatsApp, or calling us.

Edits/Changes: Subject to availability. If the change increases the fare (e.g., vehicle size, route), the difference will be due.

3) Airport Arrivals, Waiting Time & No-Shows

Flight tracking: We monitor your flight and adjust for early/late arrivals.

Complimentary waiting time: Up to 60 minutes after your flight lands. If you need more time (immigration/customs), please message us so we can keep your driver in place.

No-show: If no contact is made and the passenger does not arrive within the waiting window at the agreed pickup point, it is considered a no-show and the full fare is charged.

4) Capacity, Luggage & Child Safety

Vehicle capacity: Choose a vehicle that safely fits all passengers and luggage. For safety, we cannot exceed the stated capacity.

Child seats: Please provide children’s ages at booking so we can prepare appropriate child seats (if required by law). You are responsible for securing your child in the seat.

5) Passenger Conduct

Please treat our drivers and vehicles with respect. We may refuse or terminate service, without refund or credit, for intoxication, abuse, unlawful activity, or behavior that poses a safety risk.

6) Damages & Cleaning

You will be responsible for the cost of repairing any damage to the vehicle and for any additional cleaning fees caused during your service.

7) Service Availability & Force Majeure

Services are subject to availability and external factors (e.g., severe weather, road closures, accidents, unusual traffic, public events). We will make every effort to operate as scheduled, but timeliness cannot be guaranteed in such circumstances.

We are not liable for delay, interruption, or cancellation caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).

8) Lost Property & Liability

Lost property: Please check for your belongings before exiting. We will assist where possible, but we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Limitation of liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from a specific transfer is limited to the amount you paid for that transfer. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., missed flights or events).

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold Aurum harmless from claims arising from your breach of these Terms or infringement of third-party rights.

9) Payments

Accepted methods: Major credit/debit cards online and cash to the driver (where applicable).

When due: Prepayment confirms your booking; any remaining balance is due at or before pickup per your confirmation.

10) Privacy

We respect your privacy and protect your personal data. We do not sell your information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.

11) Intellectual Property

The Aurum Transfers name, logo, website content, and materials are our property and may not be used for commercial purposes without written permission.

12) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Jamaica. Any proceedings will be brought in the courts of Jamaica.

If you have an issue, please contact us first—most matters are resolved quickly with a friendly conversation.

13) Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. For existing bookings, the Terms in effect at the time of booking apply.
